Oops, They Did It Again: Equifax directs victims to fake security site:

In the “Seriously?! How could you screw up AGAIN,” news of the day, Equifax apparently sent people worried that their personal data had been hacked, to a fake website. Find the full story here courtesy of USA Today’s Brett Molina.

Fake:

  • securityequifax2017.com
  • and, according to Molina’s article, “…194 additional phishing websites that shared similar addresses with equifaxsecurity2017.com”
