Every wireless carrier is constantly rolling out little perks and freebies to try to get you to switch over to their service — or in some cases to not leave the service you already have with them — but T-Mobile just did something that could seriously change the game. The company just announced that everyone who subscribes to a T-Mobile ONE family plan will get Netflix for free.

T-Mobile’s ONE family plans are priced according to the number of lines you need, so two lines of service will cost you $60 per line per month, three lines are $47 per line per month, and four lines are $40 per line per month. The plans come with unlimited talk, text, and data, so there’s really nothing else to worry about, and the complimentary Netflix subscription is a two-screen plan which normally costs $9.99 per month on its own.

“Starting Tuesday, September 12th, qualifying T-Mobile ONE customers can activate their Netflix subscription online, in-store or by calling T-Mobile’s award winning customer care,” T-Mobile says.” And, if you already have a Netflix subscription, T-Mobile will cover the cost of a standard subscription for you — meaning you’ll save nearly $120 every year.”

There’s really no “catch” here, other than the fact that streaming video on your phone via cellular (as opposed to Wi-Fi) will be limited to 480p in most cases, rather than HD. If you can live with that, it’s a pretty solid deal, especially if you’re already paying for Netflix or have been considering starting up a subscription. If this sounds like the deal you’ve been waiting for, you can sign up and get your T-Mobile service up and running via the company website.
