Black Friday and Cyber Monday are usually two of the biggest holiday shopping days of the year — but this year everything is different. Most deals are already out there, and people are gobbling them up. Here are a few standouts, plus advice on what to buy now versus what to hold off on for a few more weeks.
WAIT UNTIL BLACK FRIDAY FOR THIS HOT DEAL!
The holidays are all about family, friends and festivities — and if you’re anything like me — that means constantly cleaning up before the next wave of guests arrive! I just ordered the LG CordZero Kompressor Stick Vacuum with Power Mop because — a) I LOVE vacuuming, b) it is a super handy tool that really sucks — in a good way — and has the option to switch to a mop in a snap. Plus… Its five-step HEPA filtration system filters 99.99% of dust, pollen and pet dander — AND — it’s $220 dollar OFF on Black Friday at LG.com! (This is typically $800 – it’s $580 on Black Friday price.)
BUY NOW: TOP TV’S!
The LG C1 is the crown jewel of OLED displays … hitting that perfect goldilocks sweet spot between performance and features. It’s the best picture quality I’ve tested this year and it’s hitting its lowest prices right this second. Amazing picture quality — deep blacks and intensely rich colors — bring movies, sports and video games to life. Its smart TV platform includes Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa…and everything else to make it well future-proofed too. We’re already seeing some of the lowest prices to date across screen sizes — this is the 65-inch behind me here – so get it while you still can at LG.com ($1,800-ish)
It’s hard to find the variety — and deals — that can come close to a wholesale retailer — like BJ’s Wholesale Club — and that’s where we found some really great deals this year on gadgets galore. Examples? I saved $30 on this Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor grill with an air fryer, scored $20 off on this Garmin Vivosmart4 Bundle, and picked up this Simply Smart digital photo frame for more than $40 dollars less than I’ve seen advertised at other retailers. They also have some pretty convenient shopping options including ship-to-home, in-store shopping, same-day delivery, in-store and curbside pickup. If you spend more than $100 at BJ’s — you can finance holiday purchases with its buy now, pay later payment option.
When it comes to winning at shopping — how does $10,000 sound? PayPal’s giving people the chance to win $10,000 and other prizes through December 19th. When you check out or donate to support causes with PayPal for $10 or more, you’re automatically entered for a weekly chance to win $25, $50, $250, or $10,000 just for shopping with PayPal. That means every gift you give, every ugly sweater you order, and every charity you support is another chance to win — but of course some terms that apply — so be sure to check those out too.
